  1. These updaters convert a copy of Painter 3.0 to Painter 3.1. They require
  2. a full copy of Painter 3.0, the Painter 3.0 Demo won't work.

  5. There are versions in MacBinary format (.bin) and BinHex format (.hqx),
  6. use the MacBinary if it works because it is smaller, otherwise use BinHex.

  9. There are separate updater versions for 68K, Power PC and fat (68K and
  10. Power PC). You must use the updater that corresponds with the version of
  11. Painter 3.0 you had installed.

  14. If the update fails, try reinstalling Painter 3.0 and updating again.
